Planktillion is a free, independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Krillion or Krillion.io, and it is not a source of official information about them. Play the original at krillion.io. All trademarks and names referred to belong to their respective owners; they are used only to describe what this game is inspired by, which is nominative fair use, not a claim of ownership or association.
By using the game you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.
There is no charge, no subscription, no premium tier, and no in-game purchase. The game is funded by advertising instead. We will never ask you for payment details, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or a password. If any site, message, or person claims to be us and asks for those, it is a scam — do not pay it, and please tell us at hello@planktillion.io.
Ads are supplied by Google AdSense. We choose where the ad space sits; we do not choose which individual adverts appear in it, and an advert appearing here is not an endorsement of the advertiser by us. If you see an advert here that is deceptive, illegal, or aimed at children in a way it should not be, please report it to us and we will act on it.
What advertising cookies are set, and how to refuse them, is set out in the privacy policy. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer. You are free to use an ad blocker; the game will keep working.
Planktillion is a general-audience game, but it is not intended for children under 13 and we ask that under-13s do not use it. We collect no personal information from anyone, so there is nothing for a child to hand over, but the advertising that funds the site is not designed for children.
There is nothing to sign up for. You type a callsign before a battle and that is the whole of your identity here; it belongs to nobody and is not reserved between games. Because there is no account, there is nothing for us to suspend — enforcement is limited to removing a callsign, ending a session, or blocking an address.
Playing with other people means a few rules. Do not:
We can remove a callsign, end a session, or block an address that breaks these rules, with or without notice. Because the game is free and there are no accounts, that is our whole enforcement toolkit — there is nothing to refund and nothing to ban.
Answers and callsigns you enter are shown to the other players in your room and are processed to score the round. You keep whatever rights you have in what you type, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and process it for the purpose of running the game. Do not type anything you would mind other players seeing.
The code, artwork, prompt set, answer database, and wording of this site are ours, and are not licensed for reuse without permission. Ask us — we are reasonable.
If you believe something here infringes your copyright, send a notice to hello@planktillion.io identifying the work, the material, and your contact details, and we will take it seriously and act promptly.
The game is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that it will be available, uninterrupted, accurate, or free of errors. Scores, rankings and answer ratings are for entertainment; they are not facts about the world.
We can change, suspend, or shut the whole thing down at any time, for any reason, without notice. It is a hobby project running on a small server.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or lost goodwill, arising from your use of the game. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to ten pounds sterling (£10), which fairly reflects that you paid nothing.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, you keep every statutory right the law gives you, and nothing here takes those away.
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change and material changes will be flagged in the game. Continuing to play after that means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also bring proceedings in your own country, and you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer law that applies where you live.
